Back in October of last year, we had the privilege of meeting food historian Francine Segan and hearing her give a talk about something we both enjoy…PASTA! Get to know more about her in our interview.
More recently, though, Francine must have read our minds when she reached out to us about attending her talk next Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 7pm at the 92nd Street Y called “Decadent Duos: Pairing Dark Chocolate and Beverages.” Wine, coffee AND chocolate? What more can you ask for, especially this time of year?!
We’re definitely excited to sample chocolate from Amedei, Bonajuto, Venchi and Perugina while pairing them with beer, grappa, red wine and Lavazza coffee. More importantly, we’re estatic to see Francine again and hear her talk about the many ways chocolate can be paired with tea, beer, wine and spirits.
