After coming across The Melting Pot and seeing its chocolate fountains featured at multiple food events, we finally made our way to the White Plains location one day.
At The Melting Pot, you get the choice of different fondue cooking styles and a variety of unique entrees, salads and desserts. For our visit, we went with the four-course dining experience including cheese fondue, salad, entree and dessert.
While all the food was tasty, the real treat was dessert. We were so excited for chocolate covered strawberries, bananas and marshmallows that we forgot to take pictures! Besides this minor mishap, eating at The Melting Pot was a fun experience. While it probably won’t be a “must revisit” place for us, we’re glad to knock it off our ever growing list of places to try.
One note: make sure you put enough money in you parking meter for at least two hours. One of the best parts of eating at The Melting Pot is that it’s a time consuming experience, which means there’s plenty of time to enjoy your company while cooking your food. Unlike some places that sometimes seem to rush guests, this spot provides time for conversation and eating- a win in our book! The Melting Pot 30 Mamaroneck Ave White Plains, NY 10601
