ArtsBash 2014

If you read this blog, we’re sure you’ve realized that we enjoy a good meal or two. Hopefully, you can also tell that we appreciate more than just a great meal. For example, the arts are something high on our list, and we have deep admiration for the work of talented artists. Fortunately for us, the upcoming ArtsBash on Friday, May 16, hosted by ArtsWestchester, will be a chance to exercise our passions for both food and art.

Now in it’s 15th year, ArtsBash gives us and guests the opportunity to sample the culinary masterpieces of local restaurants, enjoy cocktails and listen to live music, all while wandering through two exhibitions and 17 open studios, spanning 7 floors of ArtsWestchester’s historic building in downtown White Plains. Participating restaurants include some of Westchester County’s finest restaurants such as 42 The Restaurant, Benjamin Steakhouse, Crabtree’s Kittle House, Emma’s Ale House, Ritz-Carlton Westchester and many others. This year’s featured exhibit is STEAM, which features the work of 31 contemporary artists who have created original, engaging, and visually striking artworks in dialogue with STEM – science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Want to join us there? ArtsBash will take place on Friday, May 16, from 6-9pm, and will be held at the Arts Exchange, 31 Mamaroneck Avenue, in White Plains. Tickets are $75. All sales will support the programs and services provided by ArtsWestchester.  To purchase tickets and for more information about ArtsBash, please contact Ann Fabrizio at (914) 428-4220 x326 or visit artsw.org/artsbash.
