C-CAP Recap 2016

Every year, we look forward to attending C-CAP’S Annual Benefit at Chelsea Piers. C-CAP is a meaningful organization and we’re always excited to celebrate the great work they do for aspiring chefs. This year’s event honored Daniel Humm, Executive Chef and Co-Owner of Eleven Madison Park and The Nomad. This year, Allen wasn’t able to attend so Kristina was on her own to taste and drink the night away. As an educator, the event is especially meaningful for her as it promotes the activities C-CAP provides for youth.

This year, the event featured tastings from 40 of NYC’s top chefs. Sixty NYC C-CAP high school students and alumni worked alongside the chefs to treat the crowd to a delicious evening. In addition to the tastings, the evening featured a live and silent auction with over sixty packages including incredible dining, travel and cultural experiences. All in all, the evening raised over $1.2 million for C-CAPs work.

For a peek at what Kristina indulged in while at the event, take a look below!
