Flushing Town Hall Summer Food Events

Back in February, we attended Charcuterie Masters 2017 hosted by NY Epicurean Events at Flushing Town Hall. While we’ve been to Flushing many times before, it was our first time visiting the Town Hall and we had a delicious time. With its diverse variety of cuisines, foodies everywhere visit Flushing, making it a central stop for everything food related. In the next week and a half, Flushing Town Hall will host two appetizing events!

Savory Asian Pancakes
Sunday, July 23rd at 12noon
Tickets: $15/$10 Members & Students

You don’t have to be a master chef to create traditional pancakes from Asia. Made from dough, not batter, Asian pancakes are a typical street food in China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, and of course Flushing. Join Dr. Hsing-Lih Chou and a panel of chefs to learn how to make this savory treat and all its regional varieties. Drop-in and bring your appetite!

Gourmet Food Circle: Flushing Food Tour
Saturday, July 29 at 11am & 2pm
Tickets: $55/$45 Flushing Town Hall and China Institute Members (Food & Drink included)

Flushing Town Hall will join China Institute to host a walking food tour of Flushing, Queens. Participants will learn more about the area’s dynamic history, as they sample neighborhood favorites from local cafes, restaurants, and shops. The tour will start on Main Street, and end at FTH, where participants can view the gallery exhibition.
