The Queens Economic Development Corporation (QEDC) and the Queens Tourism Council (QTC) will host Queens Taste 2019 at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park on Tuesday, May 7, from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Participants are still signing up, but this 15th annual banquet has already attracted restaurants that offer Asian, Brazilian, Caribbean, Colombian, Filipino, French, Italian, Kosher, Malaysian, and Mexican cuisine. What else would you expect in the world’s most diverse county?
Local breweries like SingleCut Breweries and coffee merchants such as Vassilaros along with specialty beverage purveyors will mix with international alcohol brands and makers of fruit juices and soft drinks. Plus, cupcake designers, chocolate makers, and artisan bakers will offer samples of their products.
In addition to delicious food, drinks and the opportunity to network with other people, Queens Taste 2019 supports a good cause. Proceeds go to QEDC’s and QTC’s ongoing efforts to attract, create, and maintain jobs in the borough.
Tickets cost $125 each (two for $200), but as QEDC is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, they are partially tax deductible as permitted by law. For more information, visit Queens Taste’s website or contact Rob MacKay at 718.263.0546 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
